ACADEMIC PROJECT
PRINT DESIGN PROJECT
As a part of course project under the academic subject "Print Design", Jack&Jones was taken as a brand and the following prints were created. The prints are inspired from countryside, particularly taking domestic life as the elements.
"God made the country and man made the town", so says the bible. In the country, we are close to Nature, surrounded by green fields, flowers and trees. There are streams and brooks, Country life emphasises all the wonderful gifts of God's creation. The tranquil vegetal life and the calm life of animals invite us to contemplation, introspection and reverie. There is nothing quite like the freedom that excludes from nature. Vast landscapes and distant horizons give us a sense of liberation, which is why we love being in the country, where we can be anonymous and free, without any constraint.
As an animal lover, the first thought that strike onto my mind when thinking about the countryside are domestic animals that are very common in every countryside. There are many kinds of domestic animals that are not only a source of pleasure but also useful. In villages, some people keep horses for going from one place to another. Then there are mules used for carrying loads. Some people keep birds, rabbits, deer and doves in their houses. Animals have a special role in the countryside
